Art Beyond Music: EDC Las Vegas 2024 changes the Electric Sky into the Aurora Sky

Festival-goers can experience the Northern Lights and other immersive installations at this year’s EDC music festival.

LAS VEGAS (Dec. 1, 2023) – The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas 2024 is set to be an electrifying experience, with a new activation that changes the desert sky into the “Aurora Sky.” A place where art meets music to create limitless creativity, empowerment, wonder, and exhilaration for the EDC community. Festival-goers will get to experience the Northern Lights through mirrored installations and LED lights that create the illusion of the auroras. 

Sponsored by Live Nation, the “Aurora Sky” will be one of many art installations that are set to take place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from May 17th-19th. 

With advanced lighting and technology, “Aurora Sky ” will captivate attendees with vibrant colors and intricate patterns that create a dreamlike environment. As they explore the installation, there will be interactive lights and sound effects that will respond to movements, audio, and energy received from the crowd. The audience can also expect live performances by robotic, glow-in-the-dark performers. With the combination of mirrored art installations, LED lights, and electronic music, the activation promises to be a sensory overload experience in the best way possible.

The Electric Daisy Carnival is set to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Other installations such as a time travel tunnel, neon forest, pulse portal, and more, will be set up at the festival, offering a variety of different experiences. After a weekend full of captivating audiovisual displays, vibrant colors, and performances by top electronic dance music artists, fans will walk away with unforgettable memories from their EDC experience.
